Paschim Banga Gramin Bank (PBGB is a ‘head Regional Rural Bank (RRB) in India. It was set up on 26 February 2007 to practice the forces presented by Sub-segment (1) of Section 23A of the Regional Rural Bank Act, 1976 (21 of 1976). The Bank is set up by the blend of Howrah Gramin Bank, Bardhaman Gramin Bank, and Mayurakshi Gramin Bank. The Tagline of the bank will be “Bank for U – Banking for All.”
This bank is supported by UCO Bank and Owned by Govt. of India, Govt. of West Bengal, and UCO Bank. The investors of the Bank are Govt. of India (half), UCO Bank (35%), and Govt. of West Bengal (15%). The bank’s administrative center is situated at Tikiapara, Howrah, West Bengal.
As of 31st March 2019, the Bank made a net benefit of Increase ₹67.97 million (US$950,000)
