Peet’s Coffee is a San Francisco Bay Area-based claim to fame espresso roaster and retailer possessed by JAB Holding Company. Established in 1966 by Alfred Peet in Berkeley, California, Peet’s acquainted the United States with its hazier simmered Arabica espresso in mixes, including French dish and grades proper for coffee drinks. Peet’s offers newly cooked beans, prepared espresso, coffee drinks, and a packaged virus mix. In 2007, Peet’s opened the principal LEED Gold Certified roastery in the United States. Peet’s espresso is sold in more than 14,000 markets over the United States.
